  • Chicago record store Gramaphone Records was robbed last night. The long-standing record store was hit at around 2:45 AM on Friday. According to CWB Chicago, it was part of a string of robberies on Chicago's North Side that also included a sports store, some restaurants and a cosmetics store. In a Facebook post, Gramaphone owner Michael Serafini said that the perpetrators "burglarized... what little we have" and added "they did more damage then what they got." In the same thread, employee Jason Bradley said that most of the damage was done to the front door and that not much was taken, because many customers pay with credit cards instead of cash.
