- The soon-to-be-shuttered club has announced a raft of names for this summer's in-house residency.
Space Ibiza's Sundays At Space party has confirmed more than 40 artists for the upcoming season.
The Sunday residency, which will run for 16 weeks in total, was initially called We Love Space, before changing its name amid controversy. Most of the names in the first announcement have played the club before, including mainstays like 2ManyDJs, Danny Tenaglia, Derrick Carter, Yousef, Deetron, Dennis Ferrer, Guti, Cajmere, John Digweed, Heidi and Tensnake.
Do Not Sleep, the party that counts Darius Syrossian as resident, will hold a weekly residency, and there are additional slots for Anja Schneider, Tiga, Carlo Lio, Kolsch, Kenny Glasgow, Jesse Rose, Riva Starr, Hector Couto, Technasia, Jonas Rathsman, Junior Sanchez and prog house veteran Dave Seaman. Club residents Mr Doris, Andy Baxter, Jason Bye, Paul Reynolds and Smoking Jo have also made the cut.
The 2016 season will be Space Ibiza's last in its current form. After that, the 27-year-old venue will be in the hands of the Ushuaia Group, who own neighbouring beach club and hotel, Ushuaia.
