- The 250-capacity venue opens near Leidseplein in April with Melon and Marcel Vogel among its residents.
Amsterdam is about to get a new nightclub.
Opening on April 7th, oaK is a 250-capacity space located near the Leidseplein square in central Amsterdam. There's a strong focus on residents, who include local DJs Martijn Ten Velden, Mike Risk, Melon and Marcel Vogel. Each will handle one night of the week, Thursday through Sunday, and further lineup details (such as the names of international guests) will remain under wraps in advance of each event. Extended and all-night sets will feature prominently in oaK's programme. Lil Tony, Mr. Mendel, Nuno dos Santos, Sandy Rivera and Thomas Hayat are among the names confirmed to test out oaK's rotary mixer in the coming months.
