Pioneer's rekordbox Plus Pack users can now stream tracks from the Pulselocker online music database directly into the DJ software.
Subscribers will find Pulselocker's formidable catalogue of music authorised for public performance via the search bar of rekordbox. Playlists made in Pulselocker can be accessed on any computer and users can store music from their database offline. The partnership with Pioneer follows similar arrangements with the likes of Serato and PCDJ.
Cloud-based music storage services are an emerging frontier in the DJ software domain, a development that's been buoyed by integration with systems like rekordbox.
Pulselocker plans begin from $9.99 a month.
