- The popular Romanian minimalist's first solo record since 2011 lands next week.
The next release on [a:rpia:r] will be a double-EP from Dan Andrei.
It's been almost a year since [a:rpia:r]'s last record—a collection of remixes of Raresh's "Vivaltu." At eight tracks long, Dan Andrei's upcoming Parcul Cosmos will be one of the respected minimal label's most substantial outings yet (aside from co-founder Petre Inspirescu, no other producer has contributed an album-length project). Judging by the samples over at distributor ourown, the record sees Andrei deliver a more futurist, abstract sound than what's found on his influential—and hugely sought-after—earlier solo productions. Parcul Cosmos (perhaps named after a park in Bucharest) is due out on December 18th.
