- The new four-day event will run across New Year's Eve at various venues in Playa Del Carmen.
Mexico's newest festival, Coincidance, will take place from December 30th through January 2nd in Playa Del Carmen.
A raft of local and international names are onboard for the four-day party, which will be split across two beach clubs, a rooftop pool, a catamaran and a treehouse in the coastal resort. New additions like Robert Babicz, Fur Coat, Francesca Lombardo, La Fleur, Funk D'Void, Miguel Puente, Louie Fresco and Metrika will join previously-announced acts such as Crazy P, Jay Haze, Eduardo De La Calle, Jimpster, Balcazar & Sordo and Detroit's Terrence Parker. The start of the new year is a busy period in that part of the world—for a couple of weeks in January, the dance music industry converges on Playa Del Carmen for BPM Festival.
To drum up support for the main event, the festival has organised three pre-parties: Burnski plays Club Octava in Bogota on November 28th, Mexico City spot Tara hosts Axel Boman on December 4th and Joeski headlines a TBA venue in Miami on December 5th.
