Alva Noto is joining Ryuichi Sakamoto in scoring Alejandro González Iñárritu's latest film, The Revenant.
Sakamoto, whose role was revealed some time ago, this week said that Alva Noto, real name Carsten Nicolai, and The National's Bryce Dessner have also contributed to the score of the film, a thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Domhnall Gleeson and Tom Hardy. Iñárritu won an Oscar this year for Birdman, and he's also known for his work on films like Babel and 21 Grams. The Revenant is set to hit cinemas on Christmas Day. Watch a trailer below.
