AKAI Pro has announced the MPC Touch.
The new MPC is the latest in a line of controllers based on the classic sampler from the '80s. It comes with a seven-inch touch screen for browsing samples, viewing and pinching waveforms, drawing MIDI sequences and more, offering a more precise way to chop and manipulate samples. The MPC Touch also sports 16 hardware pads that are reportedly more sensitive than previous models (according to Create Digital Music), and ships bundled with over 20,000 samples and sounds.

AKAI Pro's MPC Touch will be available in November 2015 for a suggested retail price of £499.
