- The French artist will appear on Rabih Beaini's label this November.

The next album on Rabih Beaini's Morphine Records comes from French composer Pierre Bastien.
Bastien is known for building his own robotic musical instruments—most notably, his Mecanium orchestra consists of Meccano machines. He's appeared on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label a couple of times, most recently with 2012's Machinations. Now he's signed up to Beaini's Morphine for an album titled Blue As An Orange, set for release in November. The record was assembled using Silent Motors, a new project in which Bastien makes us of wheels, gears, an overhead projector and a screen. You can hear clips of the album, which was mastered by Neel, over at the Rush Hour website.
