Shifted, Anthony Parasole play for Mount Analog in September

- Mount Analog has announced its September shows. While the Highland Park-based record store, promoter and distributor has collaborated with Droid in the past, they're teaming up with two other promotion crews for this month's events. On September 11th, they'll throw a party at 333 Live's Gold Room, partnering with Moony Habits. L.I.E.S. boss Ron Morelli heads that one up. He'll hit LA in the midst of a full North American tour leading up to the release of his second album, A Gathering Together. His old friend from The Big Apple, Anthony Parasole, joins him on the bill as will Ascetic House affiliate Somali Extract. The second September show happens on the 20th at Medusa Lounge, presented in conjunction with VSSL, another LA party crew partial to the darker side of the dance floor. For the Sunday night throwdown, Avian boss Shifted headlines, having appeared at several Analog gigs in the past. He's joined by Prologue techno duo Cassegrain. The event will also act as the US debut for Nine Inch Nails member Alessandro Cortini's Avian-signed techno project, Skarn.
