- The Dutch festival's New York edition will feature the likes of Adam Beyer, Henrik Schwarz and The Martinez Brothers.
Dutch festival Awakenings has announced the details of its Electric Zoo stage, happening over Labor Day Weekend in New York.
The collaboration between the two festival heavyweights was first hinted at in March, and as expected, Awakenings was announced as one of the curators for the Randall's Island, New York City festival—which is now branded as Electric Zoo: Transformed—along with Pete Tong and Thomas Jack. It's the first time Awakenings has had a presence in the US, and the Dutch promoters also promise a similar collaboration with a West Coast festival later in the year.
Their stage at Electric Zoo will feature Drumcode's Adam Beyer and Alan Fitzpatrick, a live set from Henrik Schwarz, Paco Osuna, The Martinez Brothers, Kölsch and Get Real (the collaborative project between Green Velvet and Claude VonStroke). The Awakenings programming will run through September 4th and 5th.
