- Kevin Palmer and Gary James Geiler have released their first collaborative 12-inch through Seagrave.
Best Available Technology and ovis aurum have started a project called BOA.
Kevin Palmer, AKA BAT, is probably best known for his experimentally-inclined electronics for labels like Further, Opal Tapes and Astro:Dynamics (he also released a collaborative LP via the latter imprint with BNJMN earlier this year). He first hooked up with ovis aurum, AKA Gary James Geiler, two decades ago, when the duo were focused on guitar and drums. In terms of more recent work, they were each responsible for two sides of a split EP that launched the Seagrave label last year. Now Palmer and Geiler have combined forces as BOA for the first volume of Warp Purpose, which also comes on Seagrave. You can listen to all four tracks below.
01. Bestial Arch
02. Roman Gold
03. The Aqueduct
