  • Varg and Acronym will headline a party at an undisclosed location on Friday, May 15th. The Swedish producers—affiliates of both Semantica Records and Abdulla Rashim's Northern Electronics—will join a lineup that's heavy on live and leftfield techno acts. Acronym, who has never played the US before, will perform a modular synth-based live set. The local talent for the night includes L.I.E.S. associates Bookworms and Antenes—AKA Lori Napoleon—as well as Bossa Nova staple Ciarra Black. The party, presented by Grim Up North and Against Nature, will go down at undisclosed venue in Bushwick. West Coasters can also catch Acronym—whose recent mix you can listen to below—in Seattle on Saturday, May 23rd at a party presented by secondnature. Varg, meanwhile, is on the bill with Vatican Shadow at a Movement afterparty at the Garden Theater in Detroit on the same night.
Tickets for the NYC date are available here, while those for Varg's Movement appearance are available here.
