- The Pender Street Steppers man and Pacific Rhythm boss will spin all night at MIA later this month.
DJ D.DEE and Liam Butler of the Pender Street Steppers will play back-to-back in Vancouver April 23rd.
This is the first Tar Disc event in over a year, and like the last one, it features the two selectors spinning together all night. Butler, as a member of the Pender Street Steppers, helps run the city's buzzing Mood Hut label, while D.DEE, AKA Derek Duncan, is a co-founder of the Pacific Rhythm record store and imprint. The party will go down at the newly-opened MIA club in Gastown. The duo have shared a new back-to-back mix to drum up anticipation for the occasion, which they say "is sure to be a night of humans existing."
