A new handmade DJ controller called VERSUS is on the way.
The personalities behind the project are a pair of DJs whose interests lie beyond typical turntable-and-CDJ setups: Items & Things cofounder Magda and Berlin veteran NYMA. According to the press release, "the unit's functions are aimed at further bridging the gap between live and DJ performances," by way of a high-quality build, versatile MIDI integration and controls designed to pull users away from their computer screens. The German controller company Faderfox and Glanzmann DDS contributed to the build.
