- The Berlin composer and pianist is giving away the new LP in celebration of "Piano Day."

Nils Frahm released a new full-length today.
Solo celebrates what the Berlin artist has proclaimed as "Piano Day," which will land on the 88th day of every year and is intended to be "the most joyful of all holidays," according to a written statement. The idea came about last year when Frahm wanted to release a new solo piano LP but felt there needed be some special occasion to do so.
Solo is available as a free download in WAV and MP3 here, but you can also buy it digitally or on vinyl and CD, with all proceeds going to towards helping piano builder David Klavins finish his latest model. For the full statement and information on the Klavins project, check out the Piano Day website. As usual, Solo sees release via Erased Tapes. You can stream "Wall" below.
