L.I.E.S.' dusty hardware maven will play four North American dates this month.
Terekke will complete a brief North American tour, beginning with a gig in Edmonton tonight.
Terekke, AKA Matt Gardner, helped build L.I.E.S.' reputation for lo-fi electronics with his various 12-inches on Ron Morelli's label. More recently, he introduced his X alias via an EP for Rush Hour's No Label imprint late last year—check out Carlos Hawthorn's review of the self-titled effort here.
He'll kick things off at a TBA location in icy Edmonton, where he's joined by Khotin, Fraser and Pure Signal. On Saturday, he's in Vancouver for a gig presented by nascent store and label Pacific Rhythm. Next Friday, Gardner has a gig at the SMOG on Bard College's campus in Hudson, New York. He'll wrap things up at a surprise location in Pittsburgh, where he'll play for the VIA crew on Saturday night.
