The Sydney club will be finding a new home in the coming months.
Sydney club The Spice Cellar will be moving out of its CBD home after Easter.
Reckless Republic's Spice afterhours brand has been around since 2004. Three years back they secured a permanent venue on Elizabeth Street, just off Martin Place. Now, following a challenging 12 months dealing with Sydney's controversial lockout laws and licensing legislation, owners Murat Kilic and Rebecca Alder have decided to relocate The Spice Cellar in April, while their current location will become a new restaurant collaboration with Potts Point Mexican eatery Barrio Chino, titled Barrio Cellar.
While the club's new location is yet to be announced, event information for the next six Saturdays at The Spice Cellar has been revealed. February 28th will see a TBA headline guest at the Acid Pauli Sunset Cruise afterparty, before Spice Afloat alumni Audiojack spin on March 7th. Madmotormiquel, Delano Smith and Murat Kilic will head up the 14th, 21st and 28th respectively, and Fritz Kalkbrenner is heading down on Good Friday eve, April 2nd. Easter will be their closing weekend, with lineups for the 4th and 5th soon to be announced.
