  • Legowelt has just released a new LP, The Occult Orientated Crime Album, digitally via his own Nightwind Records. The new record follows an ambient set uploaded under the same banner earlier this year, and the Dutch producer, AKA Danny Wolfers, implies that more Occult Orientated Crime material is on the way. In a note describing the LP, Legowelt expresses dissatisfaction with the glut of ambient music available in today's market. He describes the project as such: "The first Occult Orientated Crime album on Nightwind Records. Extremely trippy PRO ambient not just some jumbled up random chiliwave overcompressed 80s retro soggy biscuit jerkoff—this is PROFESSIONAL AMBIENT—100% psychedelic drug music with perfectly fine-tuned selected frequencies to alter your state of mind and take you to complete loss of subjective self-identity: The result of years of experimentation and research." Perhaps Relics From The Past, the online TV show Wolfers produces with Willie Burns, serves as a document of said research. You can check out the second episode below, and stream the whole new album over at Legowelt's BandCamp.
