- The new LP from Marcus Henriksson and Sebastian Mullaert is out today, November 17th, on Iboga Records.
Marcus Henriksson and Sebastian Mullaert, AKA Minilogue, have resurrected their Son Kite alias for the first time in ten years.
Before the Swedish duo took to turning out spacey techno for the likes of Cocoon and Mule Electronic, they made trance as Son Kite (their last LP under the alias, Colours, was released in 2004). The new album, Prisma, consists of seven tracks made between 2007 and 2014 and is a reaction against the "incessant peaks, explosions and hands in the air moments" of modern DJ sets. The LP is out now, released as a vinyl double-pack through long-running Danish trance label Iboga Records. You can stream clips over at Wordandsound.
