John Barera and Will Martin play live in Cambridge

- John Barera and Will Martin will debut their live set at the Middlesex Lounge on November 18th. The Boston-based duo will headline their local house and techno hangout in celebration of their debut LP, Graceless, which arrived this month on Dolly. The release party will mark the premiere of their hardware-based set, which incorporates live drums alongside an arsenal of sequencers, drum machines, controllers and pedals, says Barera. "There's several songs from the album in there, some favorite tracks from our 12-inches, plus forthcoming tracks," he explains. "We do plan to take the live set on the road a bit too, and there are plans to play a live date in December elsewhere in the US." The Cambridge gig is hosted by the monthly residency Gallery, a night initially launched by Barera, now helmed by Martin and fellow residents Brenden Wesley and Matty Gavris.
