Becker will be joined by fellow PAN associate Eli Keszler for a string of shows next month.
Rashad Becker and Eli Keszler will hit the road together for a short US tour in November.
Berlin-based composer and audio engineer Rashad Becker—whose Traditional Music Of Notional Species came out last year on Bill Kouligas' PAN label—has prepared a solo set that incorporates live synthesis and experimental sampling techniques. Brooklyn local Eli Keszler, known for his innovative approach to expanded percussion, will debut a new composition for a trio that includes Tom Chiu on violin and Leila Bordreuil on cello.
The tour will kick off at University of Chicago's International House on November 4th, before heading to St. Louis for a series of shows and workshops. Next up is Dreamland Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky on the 10th, then nearby Lexington, followed by Oberlin gigs, a stop in DC and a closing show at Brooklyn's Issue Project Room.
