The Boston staple will play The Shuffle Co-Op in October.
Oakland's Shuffle Co-Op will host John Barera, Jason Kendig and new resident Max Gardner on October 25th.
Barera is ramping up for the release of Graceless, his full-length debut with regular collaborator Will Martin. His airy, jazz-inflected sound has earned him a growing fanbase. Steffi used Barera and Martin's "Reality" on her Panorama Bar 05 mix and will issue the forthcoming long-player on her Dolly label.
Where Barera is a near-constant opener for headier Boston techno and house bookings, Honey Soundsystem's Jason Kendig is beginning to fill a similar role in San Francisco. He'll lend support at the Shuffle Co-Op event and will also play alongside Danny Tenaglia, Tin Man, Basic Soul Unit and Pittsburgh Track Authority on various billings this fall.
RA's Andrew Ryce profiled John Barera earlier this summer. Read the feature here.
Tickets for the party are available on RA.
