- The UK singer will head off on a 30-date tour of Europe and the US in support of her new album.
FKA twigs will embark on her biggest tour yet, starting in October.
After drumming up attention with two strong EPs of noir-inflected, gothic R&B (including tracks made in collaboration with Arca) for Young Turks, this week Tahliah Debrett Barnett finally dropped her debut album, LP1, which features production work from Barnett herself, Paul Epworth, Inc and Dev Hynes. In celebration of the record's release she'll take her live show (where she fronts a full band) on the road through Europe in October, and North America through November and December.
Her travels begin on October 2nd, when she plays Brighton's The Dome. From there, she'll zig-zag across the UK (including London and Glasgow), before heading to Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Copenhagen, plus a handful of German dates in Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin, before the European leg finishes in Warsaw on the 22nd.
Barnett will make the trip across the pond on November 6th, starting in Washington DC and heading down the East Coast through Philadelphia, New York and Boston, and then striking West through Chicago and Minneapolis. The tour's only Canadian date will see her stop in Vancouver on the 17th, followed by a few gigs down the West Coast and then the South, wrapping up with shows in Texas, New Orleans, Nashville, Atlanta and ending in Orlando on December 3rd.
