George FitzGerald will host a Found Halloween party at Troxy on Friday, October 31st.
The party is the first of two events in Found's Horror Series. (Details of the second, on November 1st, are still TBA.) The October 31st bash will be held in the art deco auditorium of East London's Troxy venue, with Mano Le Tough, Deetron and Paranoid London joining the Domino artist in the main room, with a fifth guest to be announced soon. The second room will be hosted by FitzGerald's label, ManMakeMusic. The party kicks off at 10 PM and runs through until 6 AM.
Update: Details of the second Halloween bash, going down November 1st, have been revealed. That one will be hosted by Maya Jane Coles, with Ellen Allien, Joyce Muniz and Alex Arnout among the DJs joining her on the bill.
We spoke with FitzGerald via email this week to find out more:
How did you go about selecting a balanced lineup for this party?
Well first and foremost all of the DJs/artists on the lineup are artists I massively admire and whose music I play a lot in my sets. But they also represent a spectrum of music which wouldn't automatically be put together on a lineup. I've played several times with Deetron and also with Mano Le Tough, but I haven't had the chance to play before with Paranoid London. So I feel there's a nice balance between something familiar and something new for people who've come to some of my gigs before.
Are you going to be getting hands on with the Halloween decorations?
I have a habit of offending people when I dress up for Halloween, so I might take a back-seat with all of that.Tickets to the party are available here on RA.
