Balearic legend José Padilla's first single in over ten years is called Solito, and will be released on International Feel in July.
Padilla is best known for his association with Ibiza bar Café del Mar. Beginning in the mid-'90s, the 58 year-old Spaniard's partnership with the water-side venue spawned dozens of compilations and mixes, ultimately helping bolster the global popularity of the Balearic and chill out genres. Solito will be Padilla's first release on International Feel, and features a remix from Bubble Club. It's also been confirmed that Padilla will drop a solo album on International Feel in spring 2015.
In addition to his return to production, Padilla has announced several upcoming slots at Café del Mar. The first, taking place on May 23rd, will be his first at the storied bar since 1999.
