- CLR will release the LA techno artist's first full-length in August.
LA techno artist Drumcell has announced details for his first album, Sleep Complex.
Drumcell, born Moe Espinoza, has long been a fixture of LA's techno scene. Together with Raiz, he founded Droid Behavior, a party series that's hosted some of the world's best techno acts (Marcel Dettmann, Surgeon and Speedy J to name a few) while also showcasing local talent, both through its events and its label offshoot, Droid Recordings. Sleep Complex will see release on CLR, the Frankfurt techno institution run by Chris Liebing, which Espinoza first appeared on last year. The album is mastered by Liebing, and the artwork comes from Juan Mendez, AKA Silent Servant.
