- The Kompakt regular will release his debut full-length through the imprint this June.
Kölsch will release his debut album, 1977, this June via his longstanding home base Kompakt.
Denmark's Rune Reilly Kolsch has been a staple of Kompakt Extra's Speicher series since 2010, when he debuted his nearly-eponymous and thoroughly German project. (The umlaut over the O in his name seems to be a nod to Kompakt's hometown of Cologne, where kölsch beer is a preferred tipple.) This first Kölsch full-length will bring together all of his previously released Speicher tracks—"Loreley," "Opa," and "Der Alte" are some of those that have made the cut—mixed in with brand new material. In addition to CD and digital release, 1977 will be available on double vinyl.
