- The festival will hit the UK for the first time in July.
Electric Daisy Carnival will hold its first London event on July 20th.
EDC is one of the biggest players in the American dance music festival scene, with yearly happenings in Las Vegas, New York and several other American cities. The Insomniac-owned giant will partner with UK promoter Cream to bring its brand to the UK for the first time, with a one-day festival at London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Though details about EDC's exact setup are still under wraps, there will be "theatrical performers, dynamic large-scale art installations amidst multiple stages and numerous full-size amusement rides" according to the press release.
The lineup leans heavily on EDC's mainstream staples like Tiesto, Steve Angello and Alesso. Bass music will be well represented, with sets from dubsteppers Caspa and Rusko, drum & bass legend Goldie, Digital Soundboy head Shy FX and BBC 1Xtra DJ Mistajam.
