- The Amsterdam label will re-release the seminal house track.
Rush Hour Recordings will reissue Jesse Saunders' 1984 Chicago house classic "On & On."
Produced with engineer Vince Lawrence, the "Space Invaders"-sampling "On & On" is a cornerstone of the Chicago house canon and is generally considered as the first house record committed to vinyl. Rush Hour will re-release the 12-inch in the same form as it first appeared, with the original vocal mix featuring alongside five rhythm tracks (the artwork will also mimic the original release on Saunders' Jes Say Records). Last week we reported that Rush Hour were also planning to reissue N.A.D.'s obscure 1990 album Dawn Of A New Age. There's currently no official release date set for either release.
