The Leftroom boss will leave his native UK for a tour of North America in September.
Matt Tolfrey has announced a North American tour for September.
One of the very first contributors to our podcast series back in 2006, London-based Tolfrey is the founder of UK house label Leftroom. He's been active since 2005, producing and DJing a melodic tech house sound as well as releasing records from artists like Pheek, Laura Jones, and Inxec. The tour coincides with the announcement of Tolfrey's debut album Word of Mouth for release in October, a record made up entirely of tracks written from Tolfrey's own vocal melodies.
Things begin in Chicago on September 7th, and will see Tolfrey weave through the country from coast to coast and through the Midwest, including stops in Atlanta, DC, and Denver, and will also include appearances at Seattle's Decibel Festival and Montreal's Piknic Electronik (the tour's only Canadian stop) at the end of the tour in late September.
