- The San Diego-based producer will release his second album of the year on Samurai Red Seal in July.

ASC will release Out Of Sync this July.
The record will be James Clements' seventh proper solo album under the ASC moniker, his first album-length exploration of the drum & bass tempo after 2010's Nothing is Certain, following the ambient albums The Light That Burns Twice As Bright and Decayed Society, the latter of which was a collaboration with London's Sam KDC. New Zealand's Samurai Red Seal will release the record, marking Clements' first full-length for the label following a succession of singles over the past year.
Out of Sync will not be a straightforward drum & bass effort: the press release promises that "there is no one genre this album sits comfortably with" and that it "has taken what was 'Autonomic' and developed it into a sprawling, fluid, kaleidoscope of textures and patterns." All of the tracks on the album are previously unreleased, though the album's July release—on CD, double-vinyl and digital—will be preceded by a 12-inch vinyl sampler in June containing the tracks "Blurred Pictures," "Stay True" and "Spheres."
