- The Night Slugs artist will release his first full-length in May.
Jam City will release his first album, Classical Curves, next month on Night Slugs.
In the three EPs he's released so far, Jack Latham has forged a sound that's not far removed from that of his Night Slugs label-mates: neon-colored, maximal bass music. That said, he occasionally adds a bit of woozy psychedelia to his palette, something Michaelangelo Matos called "E-gush" in his review of Magic Drops, Jam City's first EP. Classical Curves features nine previously unreleased productions, plus both tracks from his most recent EP: "The Courts" and "The Nite Life," the latter of which features vocals from North Oakland rap group Main Attrakionz.
