The French artist will head out on a rare tour of the US, with five gigs confirmed for his live/DJ ensemble next month.
Laurent Garnier will travel to the United States next month to take his Live Booth Sessions project on a short tour of the country.
With more than two decades of experience behind the decks and in the studio—and a discography that includes anthems like "Acid Eiffel" and "The Man with the Red Face"—Garnier is one of the most respected techno artists in the world. Over the past year his focus has been on Live Booth Sessions, a live/DJ performance group composed of Garnier, Benjamin Rippert and Scan X. The trio toured heavily across the world in 2011 and ranked among RA readers' top live acts of the year, but aside from L.B.S. gigs in Miami and New York back in March, Garnier's stateside appearances have been few and far between.
Next month's L.B.S. tour takes place over two weekends. Garnier and company will perform extended sets in five cities, starting at The Mid in Chicago on Friday, January 13th and ending with the group's return to Blkmarket Membership in New York on Saturday the 21st.
