- Sasu Ripatti's tenth album under his most-used moniker will come out later this month.
Sasu Ripatti has revealed details for his next album as Vladislav Delay.
Few artists release albums as frequently as Ripatti, or alternate between as many pseudonyms (Luomo, Sistol, Uusitalo, etc). Entitled Vantaa, the new LP will be his fourth in just over a year, and his 10th as Vladislav Delay, his most prolific project. It will also be his first on the esteemed Raster-Noton label, whose avant-garde take on electronic production suits Ripatti to a T. In terms of sound, Vantaa has the same lurching rhythms as past Vladislav Delay releases, though this time the production style has a dub techno flavor to it, as opposed to the organic feel of his last album, Tummaa. It will be available digitally and on CD at the end of November.
