- Fortified Audio will release the American bass artist's first album in November.
Austin-based producer VVV will release his first album next month, entitled Across the Sea.
Real name Shawhin Izaddoost, VVV was born in Tehran but has lived in Austin, Texas for most of his life. Influenced by avant-garde producers like Brian Eno and Bryn Jones of Muslimguaze, he began producing music sometime around 2003, eventually making tracks that skirted the line between UK garage, 2-step and dubstep. Last year his first records came out on Tube 10 Recordings and the Glaswegian label Fortified Audio, the latter of which will be releasing Across the Sea. The LP includes all previously unreleased material by VVV, and marks Fortified Audio's debut album as well as his own.
