- Anotherday will reissue the producer's 1996 album later this year.
New UK reissue stable Anotherday Records will release Boo Williams's 1996 full-length Home Town Chicago in November.
Born Willie Griffin, Boo Williams spent the first decade plus of his career putting together a hefty catalogue, releasing on classic US labels like Nite Life Collective, Rhythm Republic and Relief Records, the latter of which released the producer's first two LPs, including Home Town Chicago. Recent years have seen his output slow down considerably, although his name has come back to prominence through a recent reissue via Rush Hour and a collaborative remix on Buzzin Fly. This marks the first release on the Anotherday imprint, which is "dedicated to plucking forgotten classics from the sometimes murky depths of musical history," and headed up by Tom Kerridge of Ramp Recordings.
