  • Pioneer will release a new mixer, the DJM-250, later this year. At a suggested retail price of 299 Euro the DJM-250 will take aim at the novice and home use market. The inclusion of two "sound colour" filters, borrowed from Pioneer's high-end DJM-900 Nexus, should be the -250's USP; each combines high- and low-pass filtering, with a light on the knob indicating when its engaged. Further frequency manipulation is possible via three-band isolator style EQs. In terms of inputs, the -250 has eight available: four DJ multi-player/phono, three AUX and one MIC. Other features include bal anced XLR outputs, 48 kHz/24-bit digital processing and cross fader curve adjust. You'll also have the choice of two colour schemes: black/grey (DJM-250-K) or white/grey (DJM-250-W). See below for Pioneer's official introduction.
Pioneer's DJM-250 will be available as of November 2011 at a suggested retail price of 299 Euro.
