- The LA-based artist will soon release his first full-length, You Are All I See.
Pat Grossi, better known as Active Child, will release his debut LP You Are All I See later this month.
According to a press release, the forthcoming album owes much to electronic music crafted in the '80s coupled with Grossi's trademark harps and layered vocals. The album includes the already-released single "Playing House," which features lo-fi experimentalist How To Dress Well, along with "Hanging On," a track that appeared online via the Adult Swim Single Program earlier this summer. The sonic departure from Grossi’s 2010 bedroom-crafted indie-pop EP Curtis Lane is evident. "It came out much darker than I had intended," he says. "But sometimes you only have so much control."
