- Kontra-Musik will release the Swedish experimental artist's eighth album next month.
The next album by Andreas Tilliander, AKA Mokira, will come out this May on Kontra-Musik.
Time Axis Manipulation will be the Swedish experimental artist's eighth album so far. In the 11 years he's been putting out records, Tilliander has appeared on some of the most esteemed labels in avant-garde electronic music, namely Raster-Noton, Mille Plateux and Type. His sound has evolved steadily over the years, from the glitch of Cliphop, his fittingly titled debut album, to the more dub-influenced ambient sound he pushes today. Time Axis Manipulation is his first full-length on Kontra-Musik, though he debuted on the label earlier this year with Kontra-Mokira-Mixes, a 12-inch that saw Marcel Dettmann reinterpret two of his pieces. The CD version of the album comes with a bonus remix by cv313, an alter ego of Detroit dub techno duo Echospace.
