  • Inter Lab Sessions will present four consecutive events on the open waters of Amsterdam as part of this year's ADE lineup. The floating venue in question will be the Pure Liner, a 600-capacity ship decked out with multiple bars, a roof terrace and a large dancefloor that will set sail from Piet Heinkade 27 on all of the conference's four days. The Thursday night maiden voyage will see some of the high profile talent of London-based DJ agency Excession showcasing their wares. The mighty Sasha is set to headline, joined by Danny Howells, James Zabiela, Nick Warren and double-Dutch team 16 Bit Lolitas, with Robert Babicz delivering a live performance. The following night will find the I.Am [now] At The Eastern Block party keeping things afloat, with a program of deep, minimal and tech house DJs who mostly originate from former Eastern Bloc countries. Romania's hotbed of techno talent will offer up [a:rpia:r]'s Rhadoo going head-to-head with young DJ El Cezere, alongside Cadenza's Mirko Loko, Grad vs DJ Rust, BVoice & Anrilov, plus Chile's Felipe Venegas and LA party outfit Droog. With the theme of 'No Boundaries', Saturday's Afro Acid night will be helmed by label head and acid house luminary DJ Pierre, in partnership with Ecuadorian promoter Parque Xtremo. Pierre will invite a crew of friends and Afro Acid artists along for the ride, including influential techno figures Joey Beltram and Blueprint's James Ruskin, Chicago house stalwart Gene Farris, plus Angel Alanis, DJ Prinz and Rulex. The final day's festivities will feature a bumper 14-hour program, as two labels and an agency team up close out ADE. Setting sail at midday on the Sunday, Clone-affiliated Rotterdam imprint Sound Architecture will be represented by Joachim and Ali Kuru, alongside a contingent from Berlin's Mobilee Records, namely Pan-Pot, Sebo K, Hector, and some live jazz-inflected techno from And.ID. Not to be outdone, Dutch agency Twig Bookings will deploy Tony Rohr, Joseph Capriati and Bas Struik as delegates for their international roster. Pre-sale tickets for the ADE Inter Lab Sessions are available right here on RA.
