- The UK-based producer will release his first artist album in 15 years this August.

Veteran UK producer Mark Broom is set to release his next album, Acid House, this summer on Saved Records.
Broom's career spans back to the early '90s, with dozens of releases on labels like Soma, Pure Plastic and Platzhirsch Schallplatten. But for the most part he's favored 12-inches and mix CD's, making Acid House his sophomore album, following 1996's Angie Is a Shoplifter. The record features 11 new tracks, plus a new version of "Raincheck," originally released last spring on his Meltin' Pot EP. All of the tunes were produced at his private studio out in the countryside of Norfolk, England.
