Turk's Head welcomes Matthias Tanzmann

- The Moon Harbour boss will play his first Irish club date in over a year, at the end of this month.
- Dublin venue Turk's Head will host an appearance from DC-10 resident Matthias Tanzmann on Friday May 28. Perhaps most recognized as the chief of the Leipzig-based Moon Harbour imprint, Tanzmann has been a leading player on the German house scene since back in the late '90s. The seeds of his production career were sewn around this time; his work alongside Daniel Scholz as Gamat 3000 led to multiple singles and an album for Steve Bug's Dessous Recordings around the turn of the century, while his solo work through Moon Harbour has continued to flow throughout the '00s. Friday May 28 will see Tanzmann spin for the first time in Ireland in 2010, as local promoters DeepIntoTheBowelsOfHouse look forward to hosting their own stage at the upcoming Life Festival in Mullingar on June 4. Support on the night is of a local ilk: D.I.B.H.'s Max Conte, Antonio O'Duibhir and Bradley will look to complement Tanzmann's groove-straddling of the house and techno genres.
