- Tiefschwarz, Jerome Sydenham and Argy will be among those spinning at a secret Berlin location.
Popular Berlin venue Luzia will mark the occasion of three years in business, with a party at an undisclosed Berlin location next Saturday April 10th.
Although it may not regularly focus on bringing headline DJs through its doors, Oranienstrasse venue Luzia has welcomed the likes of Tama Sumo & Prosumer, Daniel Wang and Circlesquare in recent months, and remains a consistently popular destination among the city's club-going types. To mark the anniversary of their third year, however, Luzia have plumped for an obvious change in tact, rounding up a noteworthy selection of Berlin-based selectors, and placing the music well and truly at the centre of attention.
The top of half of the bill presents the likes of Tiefschwarz, Jerome Sydenham, Argy, GummiHz, Lee Jones, Demir & Seymen and John Roberts, while those supposedly of a lower footing are no slouches either. Mano Le Tough and Daniel Wang will flaunt their respective disco styles; Elie Eidelman and Dirt Crew Recording's Dekay go back-to-back; and local resident DJs Suzi Wong (Tresor), Beaner (Bar 25) and Stassy (Techno Taverna) also spin.
Perhaps sensing the inevitable overcrowding situation at the venue, the party will in fact take place at an unannounced location somewhere in the city, with shuttle buses running from Oranienstrasse between the hours of 11 PM and 4 AM. And for that proper old-school rave vibe, they've also set up a hotline with venue details which can be called up to 48-hours in advance of the party.
