The week-long festival will bring Gil Scott-Heron, Health, Tom Middleton, Vladislav Delay and many more to London this April.
Next month, Ether 10 will take over the Southbank Centre, bringing a dozen concerts to London over the course of eight days.
The festival's programming is thoroughly eclectic, boasting everything from contemporary classical to big room house. The first events will feature performances by the London Philharmonic and the London Sinfonietta, as well as parties with The Herbaliser, Tom Middleton and a collaboration between Stereo MCs and The Bays. On Sunday night, art-rock pioneer Lou Reed will perform his challenging 1975 album Metal Machine Music.
The following week will feature a pair of indie concerts, courtesy of Broadcast and LA noise-rockers Health, with Andrew Weatherall DJing the latter show. Vladislav Delay will headline a night featuring Berlin experimental extraordinaire Gudrun Gut, and music video director Chris Cunningham will deliver an audio-visual performance alongside Beak, the group headed by Geoff Barrow of Portishead. Proto-rap legend Gil Scott Heron will perform twice over the course of the festival, in support of his recent album I'm New Here.
