  • The Bunker will celebrate their anniversary at Public Assembly next month with the help of Speedy J. The Dutch techno stalwart is known for his occasional marathon sets, but for The Bunker's seventh birthday, promoter Bryan Kasenic (AKA Spinoza) has decided to hand over the main room to him for the entire eight-hour duration of the party. While Speedy will no doubt serve up a rowdy assault of loops over the course of the evening, Kasenic has brought in The Bunker's sister night Kiss & Tell to host the front room, offering a disco and house-flavored alternative if you find the techno too tough. John Selway and Ulysses will don their Neurotic Drum Band guise for a rare collaborative DJ set, Nick Chacona, brings his dubwise disco-house to the mix, and John Roberts will return from Berlin after his performance at the last Bunker birthday bash. Kiss & Tell's resident disco enthusiast Bethany Benzur will provide support in the front room, which will also act as the birthday venue for The Bunker's photographer and hostess Seze Devres.
