- The Bremen-based producer is set to drop his third album later this year.
Bremen-based producer Oliver Huntemann is set to release his third full-length in March.
Huntemann had a good year in '08, what with the release of the second in his Play! mix series as well as a collaboration with minimal's man of the moment, Dubfire. The spacious FX-laden "Dios" also makes an appearance on his forthcoming album, which is rather simply entitled H-3. Huntemann's last LP was 2006's Fieber, where he explored the electro-inflected tech-house that had become known worldwide as "the Bremen sound." This time, however, he's seen fit to strip things back and take a more minimal approach to his productions, as was hinted at on his most recent Play! mix.
As well as the ten tracks on the main disc, a bonus CD is also included in the package that contains two exclusive tracks alongside some of last year's EP cuts. Vinyl fans will be glad to know that the package will also come out on a lavish 3x12" set, whilst the album's first single ("Rikarda") will appear next month with an accompanying remix from Parisian Paul Ritch.
