- The Baltimore producer will unleash his next album in March via Carpark.
Big glasses, big tunes, big expectations: After going on the road for what seemed like an eternity in support of his breakthrough album, Spiderman of the Rings, Baltimore producer Dan Deacon is finally ready to unveil his newest album, Bromst, in March.
The record, like Spiderman, will find its way out into the world on Carpark and has been described as a "much darker" and "organic" affair than its predecessor. That means, instead of samples galore, we'll be getting "player piano, marimba, glockenspiel, vibraphone, live drums, winds and brass" run through Deacon's overworked processor. While that may be the downfall of many electronic producers, we're hoping that Deacon's background in electro-acoustic composition, as well as his unique pop sense, will see him through.
