  • Modern Love unwraps Claro Intelecto's second album Metanarrative this March. These days, Claro Intelecto aka Manchester's Mark Stewart is best known for his Warehouse Sessions EPs, four 12"s of stripped back, drum heavy cuts released on Modern Love over the last eighteen months, but new longplayer Metanarrative promises to break with the mold set by the series. Whittled down from one hundred tracks to just a final eight, Stewart says, "The final selection has much more of an emphasis on melody than the last few twelves. The narrative arc of the album was very important to me. The musical theme represents a life's cycle, taking in varying influences and ideas that hopefully come across over the 40 minutes of the album." Sporting track titles such as 'Harsh Reality,' 'Gone To The Dogs' and 'Beautiful Death' expect an emotional rollercoaster ride. Tracklist 01 Operation 02 Harsh Reality 03 Innocence 04 Before My Eyes 05 Gone To The Dogs 06 Nodrex 07 Dependent 08 Beautiful Death Claro Intelecto's 'Metanarrative' arrives on CD and double vinyl on Modern Love on March 14, 2008.
