  • Night Slugs is celebrating ten years with a series of new releases and a European tour. Founded by L-Vis 1990 and Bok Bok in 2008, the UK label will release the fourth instalment in its Allstars series, Allstars X, in March, featuring new music from Kelela, Girl Unit and Nguzunguzu's Asmara, plus a collection of dubs, VIPs and old favourites by the likes of Jam City and Cooly G. That'll be followed by another compilation, Night Slugs White Labels, which will see tracks from the label's NSWL 12-inch series available digitally for the first time. Later in 2018, Helix will put out his first solo release since 2014's Club Constructions Vol. 4. Featuring tracks written during the past six years, Greatest Hits will be divided into three volumes, with the first edition landing in February. Then comes the debut LP from Girl Unit, Song Feel, and an EP by Ikonika. More details on the compilations and new releases should emerge in the next few weeks. A Night Slugs European tour is also in the works for this spring, with stops at venues like Berghain in Berlin, London's Corsica Studios and Razzmatazz in Barcelona. More dates are still TBA.
